Do You Brush Your Teeth Correctly?

Teeth brushing is just as important as the air we breath in so as to keep the quality of out teeth throughout our life cycle and so also to keep diseases that affects the teeth away.
Although, we all brush our teeth every now and then, but, do you think you are brushing your teeth right?

1. Short and light stroke: most qualified dentists will advice you to hold your toothbrush as a slight angle and gently and slowly brush your teeth and not too deep-in, instead of hard, long stroke. This will help to prevent likely gum damage which can result in the gum being diseased.
2. Thorough brushing is just as important as taking your breakfast: most people only brush their teeth surface and ignoring the gums, upper palate and the tongue. Doing this is just like not brushing your teeth at all. Keeping the right equipments is good: you can have a tongue brush and a tooth brush separately and most importantly, electric toothbrushes are much more convenient and better than conventional ones. Use a quality tooth-paste, either herbal or fluoride based. Just make sure they are of high quality.
4. Flossing your teeth is important at least, ones in a day. Reason is because proper flossing removes plaque and food particles in places where a toothbrush cannot easily reach.
