Advantages and Disadvantages of Caffeine.

Many people love coffee or cola, and if you are reading this, its probably most likely you love them. But before you take caffeine again, you must try and see its advantages and disadvantages which I will briefly discuss below.

1. Advantages of Caffeine:
a. It is a stimulant than helps you to wake up perfectly.
b. It quickly keeps you on alert.
c. It helps to boost memory and helps you to respond to situations around you quickly.
d. Caffeine is good for those with Alzheimer's disease and help to reduce the chance of developing chronic liver disease.
e. There have been some evidences that it can help those with type 2 diabetes.
f. Good for severe headache and fatigue.

Now, the above are the benefits of caffeine, which are wonderful points. Now, let us now check the disadvantages of caffeine.
a. Not particularly good for those who are hypertension because it can increase blood pressure and ultimately leading to stroke or heart failure.
b. Some negative effects of much caffeine include, insomnia, irregular heart rhythm, tremors etc.
c. It is addictive, meaning, you keep on taking it on and on like that. Some people have told me that taking caffeine is one of their hobbies. However, I have tried to explain to them its negative side effects.
Other examples of where caffeine can be found include: some weight loss supplement, energy drinks, soda, some type of tea.
