How to maintain your weight when Emotional.

A lot of people do find out that they are likely to eat more when they are having emotions, such as depression, anxiety or stress. And, most people will try and eat food that they think will make them happy or feel comfortable. Although, doing this not often can be safe for you, but if it becomes more frequent, you will gain more or unwanted weight and can even develop other serious health issues.
Below are tips that will make you resist temptation to eat more when you are emotional:
1. Your Food Choices should be Healthy: it is best to keep food that are more healthy. Such as fruits and vegetables. Whenever you feel the urge to eat, the first thing that you should make as your choices should be fruits and vegetables, bread and wheat in which they all have natural sugar to help you maintain your weight.
2. Size of your food potion should be limited: this will help to reduce calories, and also, you must learn to eat slowly. Eating fast will only make you over eat. Hence, eating slowly will make your body to know when its satisfied at the proper time.
3. Your exercise routine should be regular: when you exercise, it helps to relieve you of any stress. Either you walk, run or jump-rope, they are all good to keep you fit and healthy. While you are emotional, exercise will help to alleviate your emotions, stress and you feel great and good.
4. Keep food journal: this is to know what, which and how much you eat per-day.
5. See a counselor or a therapist: you need a therapist when the options to curb emotional eating are not working. A therapist will help you highlight the reasons behind your emotional eating and which those reasons will be what you will work on.
